Storm and Solace has been my pet project for upwards of five years, much like The Unintended, I wrote a few chapters and let it ruminate in my brain for a good long while (translate years). It was terrifying to submit this book for independent editorial review, but I’m glad I did.
We are celebrating the new Watcher Series book with hardback editions and apparel.
New Book
Have you been missing the Watcher Series? Do you want your burning questions about the series answered? I saved fan questions for years and have answered many of them by writing short stories and extra scenes.
And for those of you who loved drunk Tyran in The Fallen, I give you fake drunk Tyran:
“Smithy,” he slurred. “I have a job for you.” Then he seemed to take note of the extra men. “I didn’t realize you had company.” He stumbled backwards teetering and landing squarely on his backside while hoisting the wine up to prevent a spill. He laughed at his success. “See, I have not had too much to drink, observe.” He grinned at the vessel of wine again, taking another swig. Then, he loudly whispered to the wine, “That barmaid was wrong. I am handsome and I can clearly drink more.”
Fake drunk Tyran in LIGHT & SHADOW’S “One Loved”
Light & Shadow is now available on Kindle and in paperback.
Want to be the first to have the new addition to The Watcher Series before it comes out in October?
This book has been a long time in coming and I can’t wait to share this with all of you. It’s been both a passion and a labor of love writing stories to answer all of the fan questions.
Here is a first look at the full Table of Contents (with a few notes):
There’s a description below, but it’s free, so why not take a risk on something new? Meet your next book boyfriend (or girlfriend). Allure has both simmering and flirty.
As America tries to forget the horrors of the Great War by embracing jazz, flappers, and the speakeasy, the Watchers remain vigilant by protecting the innocent and maintaining order among the Immortals—including a powerful line of Seers who are all but extinct. But the real horror is just beginning.
When George Yates is ordered to escort the beautiful Rosemond Le Clair to safety, he finds himself in the middle of an ancient feud that demands her blood. Without the Watchers’ help, he must struggle to protect the last remaining daughter of the Le Clair family from these dark powers, even as he defies fate itself.
Allure can be read as a stand-alone single or as part of the series (it can be read at any point).
My Recommended Reading Order: The Unintended (Book 1) The Nexus (Book 2) >>> Allure (The Prequel) The Sacrifice (Book 3) The Fallen Part 1 (Book 4) The Fallen Part 2 (Book 5)
I promise an update soon, I’ve been on the move since September–and I mean that quite literally. I’ve dragged my family all the way across the Northern United States, into Canada, and down the East Coast in search of adventure and stories. We are hunkered in the Carolinas for the holiday and will continue the adventure soon. If you would like to see a few pictures, you can see them here on Instagram.
Missing Twilight but want more than a love story? This simple beginning evolves into an epic journey through the shadow world of vampires, fallen angels, and the watchers.
This series is great for anyone who loves the romance of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga, the world building of Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments Series, and the high stakes of Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games. When you get to book two, fasten your seatbelt, each book is faster, darker, and sexier.
And that’s not all! The Nexus: Book Two will be on sale starting tomorrow (and for four days) for the bargain price of 99 cents! It’s like Black Friday all over again. Incredibly priced books AND new book boyfriends! What? I know!
Without further ado, here is the GORGEOUS cover for The Fallen: Part Two due in May. This makes it feel almost real! Vera Walker, once again, is a rock star!!
Betrayed by the person she trusted most, Aleria breaks away from the safety of the Watchers only to become entangled in the cunning schemes of the Fallen. But celestial beings aren’t the only danger. Traitors endanger Bowen’s reign, jeopardizing the uneasy truce between vampires and humanity. As Aleria’s visions become something else entirely, it’s a race against time to root out those who would enslave the world.
Now separated from Aleria, Gabriel tries to manage the chaos in hopes that he can stop Semjâzâ before it is too late. Desperation forces him to pair up with an unlikely ally as he struggles to defeat the Fallen. It’s an all or nothing fight to stop the Fallen from enslaving both the human and shadow worlds before it’s too late.
