Before submitting an article, please review the following guidelines carefully.

Sponsored Guest Posts

The standard rate for a sponsored guest post is $150. This includes:

• Editorial review
• Basic formatting
• Publication on Robin Woods Fiction
• Up to two approved external links

Additional research, extensive editing, custom graphics, or writing services may require an additional fee.

Payment is due after the article has been approved and before publication. Payment does not override editorial standards or guarantee acceptance of content that does not meet these guidelines.

Before You Submit

Please send the following information before writing or submitting a complete article:

1. Your proposed topic or title
2. The author’s name
3. The company or client represented
4. The requested destination URLs
5. The requested anchor text for each link
6. A brief explanation of why the article is a good fit for Robin Woods Fiction

Please do not submit a completed article until the topic, company, and proposed links have been approved.

Private Google Drive Submission Folder

Once your proposal has been approved, you will receive access to a private Google Drive submission folder created specifically for your article.

The folder will contain two Google Docs:

• Article Submission
• Image Submission Information

Please complete the Article Submission document rather than sending the article as an email attachment.

Upload all image files directly into the Google Drive folder. Then complete the Image Submission Information document for each uploaded image.

Please notify me by email when all materials are ready for review.

Article Requirements

Articles should:

• Be original and not previously published elsewhere
• Be relevant and useful to the Robin Woods Fiction audience
• Generally be between 800 and 1,500 words
• Include a clear, engaging title
• Use H2 headings for main sections
• Use H3 headings only for subsections within an H2 section
• Use credible sources for factual, scientific, psychological, or health-related claims
• Include links naturally within relevant sentences
• Avoid excessive promotional or sales-focused language
• Be polished and ready for editorial review
• Disclose whether artificial intelligence was used to draft or substantially revise the article

Please do not use an H1 heading within the article. The published article title will serve as the page’s H1.

Author Information

The Article Submission document will ask for:

• The author’s name
• A short author biography of approximately 50–100 words
• The author’s website
• Relevant social media links
• The company or client represented
• Disclosure of any commercial relationship connected to the article

External Links

A sponsored post may include up to two approved external commercial links.

For each requested link, please provide:

• The complete destination URL
• The requested anchor text
• A brief explanation of the link’s relevance

All links and anchor text are subject to editorial approval. Paid links will be marked with the appropriate rel="sponsored" attribute in accordance with search engine guidelines.

Robin Woods Fiction does not guarantee search rankings, referral traffic, link equity, or specific SEO results.

Topics and Links I Do Not Accept

I do not accept articles or links involving:

• Gambling or betting
• Cryptocurrency or questionable financial products
• Adult content
• Essay-writing or academic cheating services
• Illegal or deceptive products and services
• Unverified health products or unsupported medical claims
• Unsafe, misleading, or low-quality websites
• Subjects unrelated to the Robin Woods Fiction audience

I reserve the right to decline any topic, company, website, source, or link that is not an appropriate fit.

Image Requirements

Images must be uploaded directly into the private Google Drive folder as JPG or PNG files.

Please do not:

• Copy and paste images into the Google Docs
• Submit ZIP files
• Upload images copied from Google Images, Pinterest, social media, or another website without documented permission
• Submit images containing another company’s watermark
• Upload Word documents, PDFs, or other file types unless requested

For every image, you will be asked to provide:

• The exact file name
• The suggested placement within the article
• A description of the image
• Suggested alt text
• The photographer, artist, or creator
• The original source URL
• Commercial-use licensing or permission information
• Any required credit line

You must own each image or have documented permission to use it commercially. Submitting an image does not guarantee that it will be published.

Robin Woods Fiction may crop, resize, replace, or omit submitted images to maintain the website’s quality and visual style.

Editorial Review

All submissions are subject to editorial review and approval.

I reserve the right to edit:

• Titles
• Headings
• Formatting
• Grammar and punctuation
• Excerpts and descriptions
• Links and anchor text
• Images and alt text
• Promotional or repetitive language

If substantial revisions are needed, the article may be returned to the contributor for revision before it is accepted.

Disclosure of Sponsored Content

Sponsored posts will be clearly identified as sponsored content. Paid links will be marked appropriately in accordance with current search engine guidelines.

Accepting payment does not guarantee favorable coverage, prevent editorial changes, or require Robin Woods Fiction to publish claims that cannot be adequately supported.

Publication and Removal

Approved content will be published after final editorial review and receipt of payment.

While sponsored posts are intended to remain available, permanent placement is not guaranteed. Robin Woods Fiction may update or remove content if:

• A destination link becomes inactive, unsafe, or misleading
• The linked website changes ownership or purpose
• The article or company no longer meets the site’s editorial standards
• The content becomes inaccurate or outdated
• Continued publication could harm readers or the website

Fees are nonrefundable after an approved article has been published.

Ordinary Author Guest Posts

I may reduce or waive the fee for authors contributing genuinely educational, creative, or reader-focused content without a commercial link-building purpose.

Complimentary or reduced-rate opportunities are considered individually and remain subject to the same editorial standards.

An author biography, book link, or personal website link does not automatically make a submission commercial. However, articles submitted on behalf of a company, agency, client, product, or link-building campaign are considered sponsored content.
